Very clean and tidy, staff were excellent, view was sensational, location excellent.

The rooms were lovely. Unfortunately the toiletries are not in the room only in the onsen which I didn’t find ideal. The garbages in the rooms are really tiny and I’m all for sustainability but this doesn’t really make a lot of sense when you’re catering to travellers in a City that doesn’t provide garbage facilities leaving them no choice but to bring it back to their hotels. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel with really wonderful staff. I just wanted to point out a couple things that could use tweaking.

Attentive staff, beautiful hotel and room! Large room with amenities inside which was a pleasant change up as our other hotels required grabbing amenities from the lobby. Location was great, right near major shopping and markets

Great central location, friendly and attentive staff, wonderful breakfast, and a beautiful and functional room. What's not to love!!!

Incredible experience staying here. The room was large, with our own personal hot spring onsen and garden. Food was delicious, prices were very reasonable and staff extremely friendly. They really went above and beyond. Thank you so much for the highlight of our Japan trip!

A beautiful place and a real honour to stay here as a westerner. Robes and amenities were provided and the baths were excellent including an outdoor area. Very helpful and friendly staff made us feel welcomed. There was even a mini stamp rally around the building which was great for us and our teen child to explore. The building interior was like a maze with beautiful objects and resting places all around and overlooking the garden.
