Lagen Island All inclusive Vacations

Staff and service were amazing. Incredibly responsive. Pool and restaurant were wonderful. We spent much time there. We enjoyed the free shuttle into town. breakfast was delicious and they brought to our room and balcony for no charge. Our villa was amazing however we did have trouble with the air conditioning. The villa is an Indonesian style so we are not clear if the design does not allow for proper cooling (bathroom is outdoors) or if it was a faulty aircon. Staff tried daily to make us more comfortable and brought in several fans. The location is a bit away from el nido town and up a steep hill. This allowed for beautiful stunning views and sunsets but required a ride up and down the hill. This was our favourite hotel and all things in, we would stay here again.

This place is top notch. Amazing rooms, clean, very nice staff, beautiful swim pool, great beach, good food! What else do you need. Definitely will stay here again when I visit.

Be prepared to walk lots of steps. 294 steps from the restaurant to my room (Love triangle). The first night the lights on the stairway were not working. I used my phone flashlight to navigate the steps. The room had a spiral staircase with no safety railing. Not safe at all. The view was spectacular, unfortunately the windows were dirty. I wish the place where we stayed had a full length mirror as well. Also, take note, if you go to the restaurant for your meals, expect a 30 minute wait just for the drinks to come out and an hour for the meal. Also the wifi is awful.

"For someone who trains regularly, the gym being a ten-minute walk away just became my warmup. And island hopping here is genuinely physical. The hotel is also right next to the boat departure point, which makes getting out on the water easy. Verde’s plant-based protein options cover the bases: chickpeas, tofu, edamame. I track protein intake and four days here didn’t leave me short. There are also some protein smoothies and post-activity salads on the menu. Portions are generous, though I was hungry again about ninety minutes after eating. That’s probably my metabolism, not the kitchen. I started bringing snacks for the boat. Not a complaint, just planning. The private speedboat tour organised by the front desk was the right call. Small group, flexible stops, your own schedule. That’s a completely different experience from the packed shared boats. Energy well spent."

This place probably has the best view in town. The staff was amazing, and Yuli, the owner, was right there alongside them making sure my stay was unforgettable. If you’re renting a car, I’d suggest parking near the Reggae Island Bar, which is about a beautiful 20-minute walk to the hotel with incredible views and plenty of spots along the way to grab water, beer, or snacks. You can also take a tuk tuk, which is super cheap and only about 5 minutes to the hotel. Highly recommend this place!

Clean hotel in excellent location. Pool was super nice and breakfast was excellent. The gym and spa were top notch as well. My only complaint was the constant outside noise from the property behind the hotel, but with the AC running it crowded most of it out.
