Honolulu Beach Vacations

Housekeeping was every other day which was fine, however the singular day that housekeeping did come, all the dirty towels were taken and nothing clean we given. We came back after a long day to only 2 small towels, that we had not used prior. Additionally, conditioner was not refilled and hand soap was also not refilled. Additionally, upon checking out I realized that I was not actually upgraded and my dining credit benefit was a trick. The hotel website only has king beds, just either rooms with balconies or not. The $40 Food Credit is abysmally low since they more commonly give $150 Food Credit, with an added free parking. Ultimately, I am more disappointed in the quality of housekeeping as well as the fact that the front staff told me I was upgraded from a Queen to a King, when in fact they never had any Queens and I essentially had a basic room.

Very nice place, good location, the gym is a good addition and pool experience is beautiful. Everyone here is on vacation and that's what it feels like. The hotel staff does a good job keeping things tidy and neat. I would come back and spend a weekend here again!

I will definitely come back! They upgraded us to VIP best view. We had a leak in our AC vent, however they resolved it by sending maintenance to fix as soon as possible for it to be up and running again. This spot is close by tourist attractions by feet (shops, beach, etc.)! I will definitely be booking here again in the future. Thank you to the friendly and accommodating staffs for making my partner and I feel welcome.

Perfect place for a honeymoon! We will come back again! Staff was incredible, service was incredible and view can’t be beat!

It makes me sad to leave this beautiful, peaceful place. The Kahala is certainly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at—at least recently. From the valet staff to the front desk to the servers and housekeepers, the Kahala provides excellent and friendly service. The location is convenient—close enough to Waikiki, diamond head, and other tourist spots but not too close to the noise and crowds. Our view was fantastic—we had a spacious balcony overlooking the pristine golf course next door and the mountains. Our room was spacious and incredibly comfortable. The Plumeria was great and there were a handful of other restaurants but I do wish they had more lunch and brunch options as a lot of them opened only for dinner. Their beach was also wonderful—calm and incredibly relaxing, providing plenty of space to reflect and take in the amazing ocean views. I certainly would want to come back and stay here again should I come back to town!

No parking, ac was weak and room is tiny.

Location to the beach was perfect, staff were very helpful & friendly. Overall, the hotel was amazing, a little dated, but the A/C worked well & the rooms were very clean!
