Perfect Blend of Comfort, Style, and Service From the moment I walked into Grand Hotel du LAC Boutique Saigon, I knew I made the right choice. The hotel is beautifully designed and exceptionally clean, offering a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere. Its location is perfect—Ben Thanh Market is right across the street, and most major attractions are either a short walk or cab ride away. The staff was one of the highlights of my stay. Every member of the team was professional, kind, and eager to help. Kati Ng, in particular, stood out for her warm personality and dedication to making sure my stay was excellent. Since I worked early mornings in the lobby, I really appreciated the thoughtful service from the lobby staff who would regularly offer water and coffee, making sure I was comfortable without even needing to ask. I didn’t get to try lunch or dinner at the hotel, but the breakfast was top-notch. There was a great mix of international staples and traditional Vietnamese dishes. The staff was quick to offer refills—especially when it came to my americanos, which were always spot on. If you’re visiting Saigon and want a place that combines boutique charm with exceptional service, look no further.

I had such a great stay at Rex. The staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. My room was really clean and cozy, and the bed was super comfortable. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed. Overall, it was a really nice experience, and I’d definitely stay here again!

what i did not like: room was fine, not crazy dirty but our fridge was completely broken so we couldnt leave any drink or food in there. There is a ceiling light that doesnt turn off so whoever stayed in the room before ducktaped some instant noodle cup label over it to block the light. Almost felt like i was watching the lunar eclipse every night. WHAT I TRULY LIKED: short distance to walking street/food market. Easy ride to the airport. Front desk and hotel staff were friendly and the best, we forgot our expensive fishing rods by the walking street and the hotel manager was driving me around to look for them and calling the police department to check the cameras. We were able to find the cleaning lady and found our items on the street and brought it back to us all within 30mins right before our flight. And for that i am forever in debt with your kindness and generosity. Thank you!!!

Beautiful room. Full view of the bridge, thus the nightly fireworks is awesome. Will definitely stay again next time in Phú Quốc. Highly recommend.

The hotel boasts a unique decor. I would not call it Venice, but closer to Spanish. Breakfast is small, but quite delicious. The hotel, similar to the nearby Hilton La Festa and other boutique hotels on this trip, is on the beach. However, it is not recommended to swim in this beach due to the chemicals from nightly firework displays. You may have a rash afterwards, the hotel says. There's a small swimming pool/Jacuzzi/lounge on the back side of the hotel - with an ocean view, overlooking the kissing bridge. The staff, esp. the front desk, are all very friendly and attentive. The hotel offers free airport shuttle and also free rides to bus stations to get to Khem Beach, the best beach on the island in summer. Khem Beach is about 2 miles away, with better dining options.
