Room was very clean and bed comfortable. Decor a bit dated. Staff was friendly.

Comfortable beds- Clean room and tub was awesome after a chilly day outside.

Short stay at Short Stories (2 nights). Great location across from the Farmers Market and the Grove. Nearby buses gave easy access to the museums and the tourist run near the Chinese Theatre. Hotel courtyard is very charming and atmospheric.

Excellent hotel, staff terrific, rooms good size, all the amenities, food very good. Great location if going to the Pantages theater.

Newer property but still a few things to work out. Specifically there is a weird design for their showers which leaves to water to spill out when you shower no matter how careful you are. Also there seemed to be something funky going on with the electrical because it kept going off in one of the rooms. And the bathroom GFCI’s seem to control all the electrical for the bathrooms

No quick food options before 8am. But overall very nice!

We booked a Casita room for a 3 day weekend for our last trip before we have our first baby. I didn’t put any notes or anything on what we were there for, but when we checked in we were informed we had been upgraded to an oceanfront suite. We were blown away by this room. It was massive and had multiple balconies to sit on and enjoy the views. We ended up spending most of our time in the room because it was just the best. We did go to the adult pool and another quiet pool that were both very nice. Megan at the vista pool was great! We had breakfast at the Catalina kitchen a few times which was great. The room service was great. I do wish I had done a little more research and made reservations for the other restaurants on site as they were booked. Overall it was an amazing place and we were so thankful they upgraded us, we didn’t want to leave!

Great stay, would stay there again.

Hotel is near the convention center, which is great. The price for the room was fair. The room wasn’t anything special and needed some repairs as there was some water damage in the restroom roof. Overall, for a short work trip. It was acceptable I guess.
