Thousand Islands Waterpark Vacations

Property highlights: Pool area, restaurant food, Front check-in staff very nice. Property issues: Room hallways had dirty carpet and debris, the living room of the suite was stark, poorly designed and the furnishings were uncomfortable. The bed mattress sagged, was uncomfortable and should be replaced. The loud nightclub music kept me up the first night. The sidewalk around the resort on Harmon and Paradise was dirty, smelled of urine and had dangerous people roaming around, did not feel safe walking outside of property and the parking garage. Casino signage is terrible, making it difficult to find things.

Bright and airy feeling throughout versus other hotels that are dark and dimly lit. Beds were comfy and easy to navigate the floors. But no hot water kettle in rooms so must go downstairs for coffee/tea. Most restaurants were closed for lunch on a Friday so limited dining choices. Lapis Spa was nice and spacious but (1) lacked amenities like make up remover, face wash, wet bags unless you specifically asked the reception desk and (2) no tour of facilities/spa rooms was offered upon entry.
