Central Visayas Cheap Vacations

The stay was great. The staff and room were amazing. I have a few critiques, which would be that we felt Nausea after some of the room service. Other than that, the food was great, and the staff was extremely polite. One of the things I noticed and this goes against Expedia, is that they said this hotel had a hot tub. It does not. It was one of the only reasons we chose this hotel. During our stay, the steam room was under maintenance and my wife and I could not spend the time together during the sauna. The pool, the steam room, the hot tub, and the sauna are the only reasons we booked this hotel, and we could only do one of them together. The hotel is not to blame because I understand preventive maintenance with the steam room, I blame Expedia for not having enough information. So, definitely stay here, it is a great visit. It just does not have a hot tub.

Staff are very courteous and friendly. Our room was cleaned daily, bottled water and coffee, personal care items were refilled and fresh towels provided. We love their breakfast buffet and the Halina outdoor restaurant. We were glad they have a beach access which we enjoyed early in the morning before it gets too hot.

It was smooth and great accomodation

This place had 100+ problems. Overall a wore out broke down condo. It was stinky (bathroom ventilation problems) and thick grey mold growing. Bunch of junk in the wore out old kitchen. Checkin was uncertain till the last minute. I’ll never stay there again.

We really loved this hotel. Everything was so fancy and clean, we really loved the bidets, the room set up, and the amenities. This was the best gym and sauna/spa. The pools and views were amazing, I left with the best tan! The casino was nice and all of the shopping too! The restaurants were great too! Thank you to all the staff for accommodating our needs and allowing for a late check out! Thank you to James the lifeguard at the pools and all his colleagues that helped answer questions and that took the best pictures of us! We LOVED it here, we will be back ! Also the breakfast buffet was great!

It was smooth and great accomodation

While the hotel is starting to show its age, everything was spotless and the staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The food, whether it be at any of the buffets or ordered through room service, was always exceptional.

It is a wonderful place to stay at least 3 nights and enjoy the great places to visit in Bohol and the Loboc River next to the Loboc River Resort. The staff is outstanding in happy their energy. Being a river resort it is a little rustic which makes the place very special but there will be issues like water leaks, a malfunctioning safe and one morning we had no hot water but those problems were promptly resolved by their maintenance almost immediately after reporting the issues. I’m sure it is quite a struggle to keep a place like that next to the river clean and operational. The breakfast buffet included was also very good. I highly recommend the Loboc River Resort. We stayed 3 nights in early January 2025. No mosquitos or snakes but lots of small lizards which give authenticity to the resort.
