We loved the hotel and had similar great experiences in new Otani hotels in Osaka and Fukuoka. The one disappointment was yakitori Isehiro. The staff was rude and unfriendly. We were presented a course menu in English but not told about all the other options. They clearly don’t want foreigner customers.

Couldn't get proper Coffee.
wasn't informed about Hotel Taxes.
Staff Lacked English Speaking.
Checking in at 3pm was a big issue, when i arrived at 6am.
