The property was very well maintained but, very empty. The food court food was mostly inedible. The staff was dreadful. They were visibly miserable. They were non-responsive and negative. One of the lifeguards was observed spitting on the pool deck. The hot tub was freezing. The night manager Luis was just strait rude and aggressive. The bright spot was Trevor, he was amazing and deserves a promotion. He was as very respectful and responsive. Besides him, I have never experienced such rudeness from staff in my 40 years of national and international travel. Shocking.

Everything was great. It was my first time staying at that hotel. It has a great price and a good location. I love that it preserves the feel of "Old Vegas"—you spend your money on the slot machines rather than on parking. I love that parking is free. I think hotels should lower their resort fees, since most guests don't actually use the amenities due to a lack of time; we don't use the gym or the pool. That’s why people prefer visiting other places or staying at hotels further away where they don't pay for parking or resort fees, even if it means driving. To avoid paying extra at every hotel, I only used Uber twice and just stayed at my hotel and the neighboring casinos.

Only good part is the lavish bathroom/shower. The rest is average at best. Pool was crowded and dirty. Restaurants and coffee shops are overpriced, and there’s no staff if you need any help. The buffet was really good though! Worth the extra spend.

There is a 5-minute walk from the W Las Vegas Hotel to the pool, which is located in Mandalay Bay.
