Pretty disappointing stay. The hotel has a nice lobby but the rooms are quite outdated and windows are not properly sealed. You can hear everything on the streets as if it’s happening inside the room. Had 4 nights pretty bad quality sleeps. Did ask to switch rooms after the first night which the hotel staff was happy to help with but unfortunately did not help much.

Table lamp on desk would have helped - room was SO dark!
Also weird to have letter from staff addressed to someone other than me in the room, bummer to not have food available at roof bar, and shower handle broke so I couldn’t turn water off. I’ve stayed at the Empire at least 3 times before and it’s been great. This time was fine but not great.

AC unit was not effective. Room wouldnt get colder than 73° . Took about an hour to get towels after requested. Bed was not the most comfy. Also we were missing a fridge which was not ideal. The hotel is good with alot of potential. Just missed some notes
