Kolín 2 Kid friendly Vacations

5 stars for location, and staff esp Katarina receptionist, breakfast, cleanliness Negative for management, hence giving average 3 stars. I was traveling solo, booked by room in June for Nov stay. For first night I was given a smaller room in unfinished section of hotel in building adjacent to main hotel, which is under construction. The heater in the room did not work. I called and receptionist confirmed that it is not working but was not disclosed to me when giving me the room. After my complain manager came to fix, mocked at me saying 'toughen up'. The heat was set to highest, but still room didn't warm overnight. I gave bad review on Expedia for hotel checkin. Next morning around 8am, receptionist called to say giving me different room. It was right next to her desk, in main hotel building, and big room that I had paid for. So beware when traveling alone, as they will try to squeeze you in tiny room even though you paid for a bigger room. Room had robe, slippers, bath gel, shampoo and lotion. No shower curtain so bathroom gets wet after taking shower. Have to climb over high tub walls to get inside the shower area. Management will try to add tip in the checkout bill. I don't like these sneaky practice. They should be only collecting tax, ask receptionist to remove the tip. Hotel is in nice location, but I can't see staying there again due to shady management.

beautiful rooms, service and food.

This hotel was amazing, the staff were all so friendly and helpful. There are spa facilities on the roof that are really nice to use and the roof terrace with jacuzzi overlooks the castle wishing us beautiful in the evenings. Would really recommend staying here and would definitely return.

The staff were incredibly friendly, the location was excellent, and the breakfast was fantastic. It's a great place to have a wonderful time.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, unbelievable Old Town architecture of the building itself. Could not recommend highly enough, but given the location can be noisy at night.

Easy parking access, right off the highway, free parking, prague pass (leveraged the free car wash), Great breakfast. The only downside was felt pretty warm in the room, slept by keeping the window tilted (in December)
