From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed providing exceptional service that truly elevated our stay. The food was nothing short of amazing, each meal was a delightful culinary journey that showcased local flavors. The location is simply breathtaking, surrounded by stunning views that provide a perfect backdrop for relaxation. I wholeheartedly recommend. It was our first time in Bali, and this resort made it an unforgettable experience. The service team—Linda, Ciara, Deisy, Chica, and all the other staff—were incredibly polite, professional, and attentive. The breakfast was excellent, and the yoga sessions and morning walks were wonderful experiences. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely love to come back!

What an amazing hotel !!! From the moment I checked in till the time I checked out , I was treated like royalty !! The staff was the high light of the stay . They were all kind , helpful and very professional ! I was greeted with a smile every time I head out for a tour for my trip . Honestly if you are a solo traveler like me , and is wanting to explore Ubud , I highly recommend you Alaya Resort ! The hotel is right at the heart of ubud town ! I walked everywhere !! All the restaurants , the shops are of a walking distances from the hotel . And I felt really safe ! I even walked around late at night coming back from a karaoke bar that was walking distance from the hotel ! Alaya Resort is the best place to stay if you are heading to Ubud for vacation

Sanctoo villas is beautiful accommodation and the people there are wonderful. We stayed for three nights in total and stayed in the “llama room”. I’m not sure what classification of room this is as it’s not actually what we booked. Word of caution. We booked a family suite and included the ages of the children in the booking (6 and 9) and were charged as such. When we arrived the suite has one bed and we were expected to sleep in one bed with the four of us. There was a sofa they offered to put a sheet onto at an extra charge but this wasn’t suitable. We paid to upgrade our room in the end but this would have been a real problem if that wasn’t available. Other than that, the zoo is great, the pool is lovely and the grounds are beautiful and well kept. The lemur apartments were a real treat. They are in the zoo so you are right in with exotic birds, lemurs and a wallaby. A real treat (be prepared for an 0600 wake up call though from the animals. This room specifically) The chef is awesome. The food was beautiful. Everything we ate was of high quality and there are a good few children’s options. The serving and reception staff are a credit to the hotel and our girls loved talking with them. It’s billed as a 5 star hotel and there are some minor bits that stop that. Can’t charge to room, they do a 3for2 beer offer, we ordered two but didn’t see the offer and they didn’t make us aware charging for 2 with no third. In room drinks average etc.

Wow! This resort was so beautiful, and the location was so peaceful. The villa was roomy and luxurious feeling. It had a king-sized bed with mosquito netting, an indoor bathroom and an outdoor shower and a private pool. The pool at the restaurant was so beautiful that we used it instead. We scheduled a message at the spa, which was affordable and incredible. Try the French toast at breakfast. It was an easy Grab car ride into Abud and a nice break from the hustle of the city.
