Fenglin Romantic Vacations

A nice piece of property about 30 mins away from Taoyuan International Airport, though slightly outdated in the hardware section , the quality and the value still stand out, just like Taiwan by itself to the world.

The aqua therapy pool was great, although a few jets were not working. I used it every morning. Everything was very clean, but there was a slightly odd chemical cleaner smell in spots, including. It was strongly present at the entrance and slightly present in my room. The hot spring tubs in every room are very nice and spacious, but the ventilation in the tub room is not very good, which made it a little hard to stay in the tub for long. The free breakfast food was mostly average. I really liked the complimentary fresh fruit provided in my room every day. They also provided a daily assortment of complimentary small desserts and beverages. The staff need some additional training. They were very friendly and helpful, but inadvertently rude at times. They would be speaking English just fine to me, but if my Mandarin-speaking friend walked up to us, they would stop talking to me in the middle of the conversation, start speaking Mandarin, and expect my friend to translate even though we were not staying in the same room. Only one young man who worked in the swimming pool area did not do this, so he stood out as exceptional staff. It is within 10-15 minute walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the MRT, but you do have to walk up/down stairs or hills. So neither exceptionally convenient or inconvenient. Overall, it was acceptably good value and I would definitely consider staying there again for the same price (which was about half of the Grand View Resort).

I loved my stay. The property is wonderful and clean, and the bed was so comfortable. The service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly, helpful and focused on service. Jason gave us a great introduction to our room and an overview of the amenities. He is super knowledgeable and funny. Fantastic hotel and highly recommended.

Staff were very helpful. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Hotel was far from the busy atreets which was a plus.

I truly enjoyed my stay in the Grand Mayfull Hotel Taipei. Stayed in a room in 8th floor for 3 nights. Hotel facilities and amenities are all of excellent quality and thoughtful for guests. Room is fitted with an unusually generous walk-in wardrobe, a delightful surprise for a female traveller like me. Bathroom is also very spacious, high ceilings and built with solid materials. Mattress is hard enough to my liking and pillows are comfortably soft. My back didn't play up that says something. All staff I've come across are super polite and helpful, from front desk staff, concierge, doorman to breakfast restaurant staff and cleaning lady. I pre-booked a pickup from local metro station when I arrive. Driver turned up right on time and is very friendly. He also kindly arranged for me a drop-off to the metro station for my next journey to Taichung. It went smoothly. Breakfast are fresh. Not overly spoiled with choices but foods are of good quality just like everything else. Beef noodle is delicious. The mochi cheese tart I had on Monday was a die-for. It was a pity that they only served it once during my stay. The hotel is situated at North side, slightly off city fringe. Not far from the Gu Gong National Museum. Grand Mayfull Hotel has certainly made its way to my top 3 "return hotels" list for future stays in Taipei. Already are planning for my next visit!

Great location, quick walk to the metro system. Hotel also provide FREE tour bus to near sightseeing spot! Rooms have AI powered inters speaker to assist you. Daily free water and coffee in room are provided. We stayed 10 days and enjoyed everyday. Bathroom had shower and Japanese tubs to soak. Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel with great views

I’d like to preface that my family and I stayed at the Midtown Richardson in Kaohsiung for 9 days prior to checking into this one in Taipei for 5 days. I booked this property based on my *naive* assumption that I would have the same experience that we had in Kaohsiung which was very pleasant. However we were greatly disappoint as soon as we walked into our rooms. I booked 3 rooms,

Room was clean and modern decor. Staff was super helpful. Convenient to Xin Yi shopping district and Song Shan cultural area.

hotel is good, staff are helpful, near 7-11 and family mart and MRT

The property is very nice and warm for visitors. It has an activity room in the basement. My kids loves the free drinking and massage chair. The location is convenient to many sightseeings vis MTR. It is walkable to the NingXia night market.

Small but nice hotel. Beds and pillows firm, which I like. The included breakfast, though not fancy, was a delightful treat. ACs work great. A couple minutes walk to nearest night market, and lots of restaurants nearby. I absolutely would stay here again.
