I was grew up in Taiwan but lives in USA for 32 years .It is great hotel for - breakfast is great and people are very friendly . Plus it is very convenience to train station and metro.. also there are lot great store for shopping…

The hotel is very clean and quiet. However, the hotel probably needs a renovation as some of the amenities are outdated.

Good location, but hard to find entrance. You need to take an elevator to get to lobby.

They have got an excellent restaurant for impressive dinner menu and an amazing variety of breakfast. Both the public and private bath in the room were amazing. Since we have stayed 2 nights at the hotel, we get to try different onsen there (they swap the female and male onsen area every night). The location is also very close to the metro station with a number of restaurants nearby.

The best location when you travel in Taipei! The hotel staffs are very polite and kind. The room is very clean and well kept.

Breakfast - good spread, include Japanese selection like soba, natto, and small side dishes like onsen egg, cold toufu, seasoned octopus. Also provide cakes which most Taiwan hotels do not include in the breakfast buffet Location - superb because there’s a mall right next to hotel which has shopping and food. Also can go to metro, AirPort Express and HSR via basement Negative: the overall lighting is very dim, in lobby, breakfast dining room and hotel rooms. There’s statues at some common areas which is quite scary due to the dim lighting. Hotel rooms also not ideal due to bathing area is open and only using a curtain. Bathing is using a round tub which is quite high, not good for elderly to climb in and out. In winter, bathing would be very cold since the space is open

This stay at Regent Taipei was an extremely satisfying experience overall. The front desk staff were warm, professional, and efficient, making me feel the high standard of five-star service from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, with great attention to detail in its upkeep. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options, which was definitely one of the highlights of the stay. Location, location, location

This hotel is definitely underrated. It is at least a four or 4 1/2 star. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable and quiet and very up-to-date. The staff is helpful and the location is excellent directly across from the train station the Shillin market a short walk away. So many food options to choose from. Even a bar almost next door.
