"Great location. Decent breakfast, served until 11am which is nice. The Premiere King Room is quite small. Maid service only if you stay longer than 3 days. There are no drawers, closets or places to put your luggage or clothes. There is no space between the bed and the wall so you have to crawl in and out of bed….not something I have often encountered. Seems a bit expensive for this setup. Check out the competition in the area before booking."

"The staff were absolutely incredible. This was a bit of an indulgence and truly was a luxury worth looking forward to. From check in to check out the staff at the front desk were attentive and professional. We loved the cypress bath in our room and there were multiple sinks and trash cans - strange thing to point out I understand but it was a stark comparison to the other places we had stayed on this trip. "This is the second time I have stayed here visiting family. Overall nice property but there was an issue with guests from Mainland China. They were loud, drunk, rude, and made thenstay less enjoyable. This hotel should review it's travel partners and better vet the groups coming in. The area is good but too many Gaijin tourists who are ruining Kyoto with there boorish behavior. I feel sorry for the locals."

"This is an amazing hotel. The room was very spacious. It was one of the larger rooms in our whole Japan trip. The amenities were great and the staff very friendly. The location is ideal for connections with bus and subway. The shopping district is very close. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Thanks for the hotel gave me a room with the fantastic view of Niko castle. However, there was a sort of noise we could not find where it came from. The hotel kindly offered another room. Reception desk and catering services are also kind and helpful. Breakfast is superb. The facilities of gust rooms which I experienced are old, but the bed is comfortable. Staff are polite and helpful. "
