“The location and views from the property can’t be beat. The food was fabulous, and the staff is incredibly accommodating. Gabriel and Sandra are amazing servers at the bar/restaurant;and Efrein at the front desk is extremely customer service oriented and very kind to work with. “Very difficult to get to - hour and a half of bumpy roads to Carate, then a 3.5k hike. The logistics were not well communicated, but worked out fine. Hot (mid-April visit). The grounds are pretty special with spider monkeys frolicking in the trees right above the tents and ocean waves supplying 24-7 white noise. The guided hike into the National Park was underwhelming - the wildlife was superb, but you only skirt the periphery of the park and don't get to really explore the old growth. ”

“The view from absolutely everywhere is stunning. We had the chance to see a plethora of birds and monkeys from our little pool in our balcony. The drive there is a little challenging but the location makes it all worth it. Taking a shower indoor/outdoor is one of a lifetime experience. ”

“Playa Cativo Lodge is a wonderful place and the accommodations, food and staff were absolutely perfect. It was nice to be so close to the gulf which was calm, warm, sandy and perfect for swimming. My only complaint was that the entire front area of the lodge has been landscaped with grass and ornamental plants, many of which are not native. Because of this large open area few birds or animals come near the lodge. Bird watching was disappointing compared to lodges that have left the rainforest...

“Das Hotel liegt oberhalb von Neily. Es hat einen ganz besonderen Charakter, denn es könnte auch ein Parkplatz sein. Die Zimmer sind groß und man kann von der Terrasse auf die Stadt schauen. Es ist dort ein wenig einsam, aber die Bar und das Essen entschädigen. Offensichtlich gehen dort viele Leute Essen. Das Frühstück war inkludiert, aber den Kaffee und den obligatorischen Saft musste extra bezahlt werden. Trotzdem Dauem hoch - für eine Nacht perfekt. P.S. es gibt eine E- Ladesäule”
