"What a wonderful location, 2 minute walk from the bus stop, and close to the forbidden city. Easy to find as well, just be careful as we put the wrong address in and walked to a different hotel. The hotel staff are nice, however the speak very very little english, they could not even tell us where a shop was. Room was spacious, comfy bed, places to put bags and clothes. Only downside was bathroom a bit small, only one person at a time can fit, which is not a problem, this hotel wins because of...

"The location is great. Definitely worth waking up early to walk around the hutongs nearby before dawn—highlight of our trip. The building is older and is due for an update, but is very clean and warm. I believe our room was upgraded from a double to a double deluxe room, which was very spacious."

"The staff does not speak English at all. Make sure you have a translator on your phone. The internet speed is unacceptable (unusable). Also, you have to have a local cell phone number in order to log in on the internet. This is crazy for international guests staying at the hotel. The breakfast fair to poor. Very limited selection for Western choices and all the hot food was cold."

"The location is very good, in a quiet residential neighborhood, with walking distance to metro station to famous sightseeing places. There are convenient store and several restaurants within 1 mins walk. The hotel’s free breakfast has many selections, in a sunny dinning room. Has lunch service but not dinner. The room is comfy but stained on the carpet, and hallway smell smoke to me. Overall it’s a good place to stay for 3 nights. "
