"Charming hotel with decor that evokes a traditional China of the 1920’s, but with thoroughly updated facilities and amenities. The bathroom was very elegant and included a Western-style toilet with heated seats. The bed was very comfortable, and there was a lovely view of the river from the balcony. "We had an amazing stay. It is a beautiful old home and is walking distance to most parts of the old Lijiang Town. The staff were extremely helpful in recommending things do and places to go. There great opportunities for us to mix around with the other guests and staff during the breakfast time to know more about the local community. "Really lovely spacious room with air con which kept the room warm as I went in autumn time whilst it was chilly outside. The bed also has an electric blanket. My room also had a little balcony. When you come out of the hotel you can go right and come to the main high street with lots of restuarant and shops or go left and go down lots of interesting little alleyways with cute shops and cafes. "
