“Beautiful grounds . Two resturants for dining. Very nosey. New Zealanders let they children go crazy. Running, screaming and yelling. If you want some peace and quiet go somewhere else.”

“Staff are beautiful Our family of four adults stayed in the beach house, ample space with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We hired scooters for the week so could come and go as we pleased without inconvenience to anyone as the beach house is next door to resort. Best access is via beach for a very basic continental breakfast in the mornings. Basic 3 star accommodation which suited us but would probably stay on west side next time. Would recommend to prebook Aitutaki as it was booked out and...

“We loved our stay at Ikurangi - in fact, it was the highlight of our trip to Rarotonga! Vicki and Alan have created a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere for their guests, and we were taken aback by their thoughtfulness. The luxury safari tent had everything we needed, and both Vicki and Alan provided great guidance on how to make the most of our time on the island. Alan’s breakfasts were also amazing, and the cherry on top of our stay! We can’t wait to come back!”

“It’s a great hotel, it is on the opposite part of the island to the main town so it is generally quieter. It is quite a small hotel, but very nice. It also has its own beach/lagoon area for swimming etc ”

“Very good. Many positives. Not cheap but worth the extra $ to have a beach view room imo. Nice people running and operating it. all very friendly and relaxed. The biggest and easiest improvement would be to upgrade breakfast. It's a very basic continental and could be so much better with some small improvements. The office closes early as well and whilst you have the owner's number if you need anything you tend not to want to disturb him (or at least I didnt) for general info etc.”

“Really enjoyed this property- we stayed with our two daughters aged 7 and 10. Property was perfect for our needs, handy fridge and kitchen facilities meant we didn't have to eat out every meal. Snorkeling off the property is incredible- did not expect to be able to walk 3 meters into the sea and see tropical fish! ”
