“Disappointing ”

“The property is older but clean and well maintained. There are several different restaurants on site but they all use the same menu. The food is quite good, and the breakfast buffet that comes with most rooms has a good variety of items and good quality. Our main concern was the noise levels. The first night we were there, they had a DJ playing full blast in the pool area until nearly 5 am. I asked the front desk twice to lower the volume levels. They turned it down a bit for a while but it was...

“Recently stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon trip to Kenya. After a week on safari the amenities were much appreciated, and from our experience, this hotel is one of the most luxurious in the country. WiFi in common areas was fine, room views of watering hole were amazing. Staff was extremely friendly. Lots of animals everyday at the watering hole, there are many openings to the outdoors so plan on bringing warm clothes even when hanging out inside. The beds could afford to be a bit more...

“The hot water was hit or miss”

“The bed was very comfortable but bathroom needed some attention, rail coming off, tile above the mirror broken ain’t on the wall needs doing , the staircase needs some good work doing . Service at breakfast slow and not enough choice of spreads , juices and milk ”

“A beautiful mix of an older well maintained period building from the 1940's and well made rooms and cottages that stay within its original form. Placed in an excellent spot, by the river, with lots of bird and smaller antelope wildlife. Excellent staff, very friendly and extremely helpful. Internet could be much better.”

“We had only 1 night stay here so didn’t get to experience the full stay, but overall it excellent service, only suggestion is be physically fit if staying in the honeymoon tent as it is located at the bottom of the hill so carrying luggage up can be a challenge for some, beautiful tent”

“Very friendly, dedicated and caring staff. Christine at reception was a darling. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We liked the minibar. They even gave us a hot water bottle for our room. Water was provided and internet was great. We would come back and enjoyed our stay. Parking and pool were there. Breakfast had a lot of choices. It had a guarded gate, so it is a very safe place.”

“Shower rooms are filthy. There was no toilet seat in my room and floor was dirty. Bed and room decor were good. Staff is low caliber and need training. Managers were not available to respond to my concerns. ”

“The staff was literally outstanding!! The tent was gorgeous. Our major complaint was the food choice was very limited and not always geared to an 'American' consumer. We had a couple great meals and the rest were hard to enjoy since we don't eat seafood.”
