“The road to the motel was full of pot holes. The blankets on bed were not very warm. I was only there overnight and had no interaction with staff ”

Very friendly, welcoming and informative. Rooms are very simple, cabin like feel. Great access to the beach. And the best part of our stay was the nightly fire. Grear time just relaxing and chatting! Will definitely return on our next adventures to the UP!”

“Lovely little place. Very clean, friendly, good breakfast in the morning. Youngs restaurant right around corner so good! Great alternative to Ski Brule lodging - only 15 minutes away. ”

“Bare bones and a bit shabby, this older motel is very reasonable for a place to sleep. It has the essentials, and the room was very quiet. The mattress was very comfortable, firm but not hard, bedding was clean and cozy. Towels were thin, if you care about those kind of things, but freshly laundered. Worst part was trying to get the shampoo packet open. I had to use my teeth. Everything else was just fine for what this place is. ”

“Very nicely updated. Very happy we could bring our dog. Only concern we had was how squeaky the floor was as we were on the 2nd floor. But we didnt get a notificationof a complaint so it must have been okay. ”

“Very new and very clean. First the good. Firm mattresses, TVs in each room, decent shower, nice oven and microwave and fridge. Dryer was key as well. Only criticisms if I had to: counter stools are the wrong height for the counters, gravel outside each doorway tends to track inside. Would be great if they added decking or community grill spots too. Our TV in one bedroom wouldn’t play properly but we didn’t care that much with two other functional TVs. I’d come a bit better prepared next time to...
