"We've had a lovely stay at Novotel Cardiff. The staff in reception and at the restaurant were helpful and polite. The buffet breakfast was very good. The swimming pool and spa facilities were great. The room for 4 is not very big but had enough space and was comfortable. The hotel is not in the prettiest area, however is conveniently located 15 minutes walk from the city centre and 5 minute taxi ride from the bay. Also walking distance from the train station. Definitely recommend. "

"Busy property, lots of families and people using the gym. The bar and grill can be very busy and noisy with children running around which makes it a little noisy for other residents - the lack of soft furnishings enhances the noise. The conservatory is the only quiet space available so is prime real estate for anyone without young children. Hotel was clean, staff were super helpful all the time. We were in a freshly renovated room where the bathroom renovation was excellent apart from a lack of...
