โBear in mind that you are in an old (territorial old) building. The room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of amenities in the room and common areas to meet a travelers need. Slept like a baby. The shower wasnt (and by virtue of the age of the building, cant be) high pressure. Stay here for a comfortable, cozy, lodging experience that gives you a sense of life of historic Ketchikan. โHottel Gal was very unhelpful, I got in early requested to check in early and was told I couldn't when i checked the internet site it showed that she could have checked me in. I ended up sitting in lobby for 4 hours. Overall, the place was not very well kept. Room was rundown, and musty. Bathroom hasn't been fixed up in a decade, lots of stains and worn-out floors, tub, and room in general was low budget. Very noisy, from guests, car alarms going off. โThe diner was absolutely perfect. The town does shut down pretty early, so getting a later dinner is not really very easy. The diner stays open until 8pm. The food is really good, and the staff is even better. We ate breakfast there every day of our trip and even had dinner there twice. โ
