“It is close to Mount Kenya National Park. The lodges has a scenic walk along the River. The restaurant is excellent.”

“Very well run and managed property with extremely friendly staff and owners”

“room hot and noisy.”

“A beautiful escape with incredible potential, though some operations need refining! The exterior of the barn is stunning and the rooms are okay. The property has a peaceful vibe with the caretaker being welcoming and attentive to our needs. However, the kitchen experience needs work. “Super nice luxury tent, very helpful and friendly staff, special athmosphere with a fireplace”

“The property needs maintenance as some of the fixtures are broken or falling apart. The electrical equipment also need upgrading. The kettle in the room was boilingthe water but was not automatically switching off. That can be dangerous, fire hazard.”

“I went with my husband and kids and it was wonderful. The à la carts restaurant was very good for dinner and there were lots of options for dinner. There were lots to do for kids including a maze, an animal orphanage, fishing and taking their dogs out for a walk. Benson ensured we were happy with our rooms so we appreciated his cheerful help! We had a great time! They arranged a wonderful safari for us with Francis. Ask for the feather pillows.”

“Very helpful staff, great amenities, some of the food could have been a bit better: meat (lamb and beef) was tough. Fresh cooking station was excellent.”
