“An sich ein schönes Hotel, leider direkt neben dem Motorway und ohne schalldichte Fenster. Nicht so gut: In unserem Zimmer gab es keine Belüftung (auch nicht im Bad) und das Fenster ließ sich nur minimal öffnen. Die Teezubereitungsmöglichkeit im Zimmer stellte sich als Kaffeemaschine heraus. Gut: Estate-Ambiente, freundliches Personal, bequeme Betten und große Zimmer, außergewöhnliches Frühstück.”

“The accommodation was really nice and decent value in the circumstances. The breakfast was good but a little bit limited. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The room was serviced daily to a high standard. The only slight downside is that the hotel has functions up until midnight on the weekend nights we were there. The loud music carried into our room despite this being a quieter room as requested. Not a problem if you don't retire to bed early and in fairness the music does stop...

“Caravogue House is a lovely gem in Trim. It’s within walking distance to town center and trim castle. The house itself is lovely and has private off street parking. Everything was very clean and the owners are super friendly. We had a family room which was perfect for us and our two teenaged children. Private bathroom with a great strong and hot shower. Breakfast was made to order and tasted amazing. It was a perfect place to stay before heading to the airport the next morning. A perfect wrap up...

“Room was large but definitely needed a facelift/upgrade (and that was considering we had already received an upgrade from the hotel!). In addition, the hotel only opened the day we arrived after renovations (not flagged in advance by either Hotels,Com or the hotel itself !!!) so limited dining and bar options were available so a bit disappointing.”
