“Great place with a quick walk into town and the Main Street. Great host who was very accommodating. It’s a budget hotel but was comfy, quiet, AC working. What else do you need? ”

“The Inn is small, quiet, and comfortable. The cats and dog on the property brought me smiles and the braver/friendlier cat was a lot of fun. The small pond attracts beautiful wildlife including my first tiger heron! I felt safe, had hot showers, and slept well. I wished the kitchen was serving but it was off-season and I found delicious food in town. Having a rental car made it easy to get to downtown and explore.”

“Rooms are a bit older but very clean. Beds not the most comfortable but otherwise no complaints. The staff, especially Levi, really went out of their way to ensure our stay was excellent. We had an issue with a tour not showing up (due to vehicle issue) and Levi was very responsive and helpful!”

“This resort is beautiful, peaceful and a wonderful place to stay. The staff was so nice and made our stay special. The restaurant was great, although the dinner options for vegetarians weren’t always amazing. Excellent breakfast and lunch. Our room was beautiful and secluded, we stayed in number 10, which had two beds and although we just used one bed, it did give us some extra space and extra room and did set us apart from the other rooms. “For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. We had a 2-bedroom suite for the 4 of us and it was perfect. We booked airport transportation, transfer to Placencia, several rides into San Ignacio and all of our tours with them. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us.”
