“We couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable and amazing experience. From the staff, the accommodation, to the above-and-beyond service, we were so delighted, and highly recommend.”

“Everyone is friendly and helpful . The meals were great and delicious, forgot to ask for their beetroot recipe. Lots of animals around. Wish I had planned better and stayed longer. Very close to Kruger.”

“Super”

“Loved the lodge. Breakfast was good, but dinner not so much”

“This was a fantastic experience. The staff accommodated my parents dietary requirements (vegetarian) as well as their age. The staff, management and owner were attentive and helpful. Rooms were excellent. Bathrooms could be modernised, but that process has commenced. Overall excellent accommodation.”

“I think everything was amazing in this lodge! The cottage that I was had refrigerator, microwave, airfryer, dishes and everything for you to cook by yourself and make your own food (which I think marvelous!). The bed was absolutely comfortable and the location was perfect! near the crocodile river and among many wild animals around.”

“Had a great stay here for three nights. I enjoyed all guests and the hosts eating together, especially traveling alone. It's located about 30-40 minutes from the yep gates to Kruger. Good communication and wonderful hosts. ”

“Our three-night stay at Kambaku River Lodge was nothing short of unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality from Garry that immediately set the tone for the entire experience. The lodge itself is beautifully designed, blending comfort with an authentic safari atmosphere. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered stunning views of Kruger National Park and the Crocodile River. We shared the outside space with a few nyalas who took...

“We didn't use it”

“Exceptional is an understatement! All around 5 stars in every category! Food, service, amenities, spa, and staff all were TOP NOTCH! Memorable on so many levels!”

“Nice stay”

“Great chalets, in a very convenient location for the border crossing. To be honest, we were not expecting much but this place really is a hidden gem and we would return if in the area. Fab owners with lots of helpful info, great amenities, parking, close to town. And the added frisson of the river with the possibility of seeing hippos and crocs! What more would you want!”
