Some call it the best road in the world. We call it a challenge at the beginning of every summer, when we get on our bikes, more or less trained, and try to climb it. One hour trek away from the top of the Transfagarasan road, you'll find peace and quiet. You'll also be almost in the middle of the Fagaras ridge trail, one of the more serious challenges for mountain lovers around here. #romania #fagaras #mountains
This highway is the highest in Romania and crosses over the tallest mountain range in the country. Many consider this to be one of the best driving roads on earth, and we can easily see why!
