“Antonella is a lovely woman who speaks a little English. We were all able to understand each other with no problem. She was welcoming and gave us a lovely glass of wine from her vineyards when we arrived. Her surroundings are beautiful with seeing olive trees and vineyards and the town of Certaldo. Our room was big , very clean and bathroom was great. I would totally recommend going to her place . They also give tours of their vineyards and olive oil factory. “This was one of the best experience I had in Italy. The hotel is a little bit off from what the GPS tells you but not too hard to find. The swimming pool is very clean and beautiflu and the room we had was on the first floor with kitchen, workin closet, bathroom and everything beautifully setup. People were very kind and the whole hotel is managed beautifully with flowers, trees and everything. I would had willingly spent the whole week in this hotel if I hadn't book for other schedules. “Conveniently located close to the centre and the parking (if driving). Our room had also a kitchen. Very clean and comfortable. Only cons is that there is no elevator (our room was at second floor). It was not a problem for us but very important for people with walking difficulties. Highly recommended. ”

“No Heat, No Host Communication and Awkward. We got lucky with check in that the daughter answered the door and let us in. We never saw the host. I thought this was more of a hotel or bed and breakfast than a room in someone's house as it was. We ordered a double room and it was three rooms on the third floor of the property (One being the daughter of the hosts room) and two rooms that we did stay in and a shared bathroom. The daughter did not share the bathroom but it was clear it was hers...

“Overall, a decent place to stay near San Gimignano with lovely surroundings. The property has a beautiful garden and pool are and the breakfast was decent. That said, I was frustrated with the check-in process, the receptionist was also helping in the kitchen during dinner hour, so I had to wait quite a while to be checked in.
