"Great location with a good pool "

"There was a problem for 3 days of my stay and it sounded like i was sleeping inside a subway station - screeching metal on metal in random occurrences all day and night. They finally got it fixed it for my last night. Basic hotel that looks industrial in parts, and is fine for the area. Quick walk to Old Town, McDonalds and many coffee shops."

"The male front desk who works the grave night shift was unnecessarily unpolite and rude. After a long flight, I was not expecting to receive unwelcoming at the hotel. It was also unclear why the front desk requested to keep my passport with their possession when payment was paid in full."

"What a gem this place is. Owners and their family were so welcoming and friendly. Helpful in every way they could be. The property is situated down a quaint alley that adjoins other apartment complexes. We enjoyed people watching with the morning coffee, and just talking it all in. Steps away is a great locals restaurant where we were able to eat for a family of 3 for about $9 CAD. "Hotel was okay for value. Water heater and lock box weren't working. Employees were friendly. Close to main bangala Road. It was like $25 a day. I don't know it's good or not in Thailand. By American standards, it was good."

"Nothing special about the hotel. Not too far from the beach. Rooms on the back face Big Buddha (see my picture). Room was spacious. Safebox was not working properly. Massage salon on the property. Restaurant across. Budget place to crash for a day or so. "

"A nice hotel right near Bangla Road. My room had a balcony and just fine traveling as one. If you are a light sleeper, choose further away from Bangla because it goes off here!"

"A great hotel in a great location. Located directly opposite Patong Beach and surrounded by loads of restaurants. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were really friendly. There is no lift so it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues but if you're looking for something reasonably priced, clean, tidy and centrally located, then I would recommend Tiras Patong Beach."
