“It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. “We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. “Excellent cabin. Very nice and very clean. We were 2 adults and 4 children and had plenty of space. Loved the "back yard" of the cabin. Lots of grassy room for kids to play. Nice fire pit, picnic table and charcoal grill. People who worked there could not have been nicer. Very kind and helpful. Our cabin was very far from the highway so we did not hear traffic noise at all but I suspect that some of the RV sites closer to the road would hear traffic noise. Overall a quiet and peaceful...

“The inn was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly. There is a sign for the inn at the road, but the building has no signage (not even on the door). We were not sure that we were at the correct place. Very close to the Potomac Eagle railroad.”
