“Reception and bar staff were friendly, accomodating and cheered me up!”

“This is what a B&B originally was like, a room that's like a real bedroom, comfy and cosy, with a friendly and helpful staff and creature comforts. There's a dvd player in the room and dvds or books to borrow downstairs. I really felt very comfortable and didn't have any noise from other rooms. I do wear earplugs anyway so I didn't get disturbed by traffic noise (I was in a front bedroom). I was upstairs which is not accessible if you have mobility needs (this wasn't an issue for me personally)....

“Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. It’s an old style building though- so you can hear people in the street or going up/down the corridor outside. Doesn’t bother me- but would be disturbing for a light sleeper. However- Ilfracombe is a sleepy Devon town so there is no noise after pubs shut or before 6am”
