“I stayed alone at the villa in zanzibar in a lovely room. I had an excellent stay! The setting is magnificent and so peaceful. My room, spacious with a huge bathroom, overlooked the garden and the ocean. The sun sets in front of the room and the pool, which is remarkable. The common areas are large and spacious, so you can enjoy the place without disturbing each other. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The chef is very attentive to special requests.I look forward to returning. ”

Meinen Cocktail genoss ich am Pool und das köstliche Essen wurde von sehr netten Angestellten serviert. “One of my worst hotel experiences. The air conditioning in the room did not work and there is no overnight staff to contact. It was 34 degrees. There is no bottled water in the rooms (you cannot drink the tap water). When an extra towel was requested (for the second person in the room - the room had 2 beds) the staff said none were available as they needed to do laundry. “Very central location for Stone Town. Easy to walk to local attractions. Less easy to get back to but that is due to the many narrow streets rather and geography of the area and nothing to do with the hotel! The hotel is known by everyone so if you get lost someone will help you get back. It is noisy with building work going on nearby, calls to prayer, and the church bells ringing but we expected that to be the case and soon got used to it. “I have travel to many beach resorts. By far this was the best place I have stayed at. What made the stay fun and enjoyable was the staff. Every employee was friendly and outgoing. The front desk was very helpful. Answered any question and was helpful. I could name people but it would be to many, everyone was great. Would love to come back one day. ”
