“It was a beautiful place to stay right on the beach with the sound of the waves crashing and the birds chirping. Very close to restaurants and all of the tours and the host was awesome and very accommodating! Highly recommend!”

“House was exactly as advertised and had a great view. There was a berry tree in front of the house and every day two red Macaws would perch there followed by two toucans. The breakfast was great and you can walk down the stairs right to the beach. The only drawback was the hike up to the house, but everything else was perfect.”

“Mariadelia welcomed us to the hotel with smoothies and refreshing towels. She was such an angel our whole stay. She anticipated our needs, answered our questions, and helped us book activities. I hope she gets paid highly because she certainly deserves it! We also loved talking with the bartender, Diego who was a sweetie. One of the chefs, Randall also came over and took a picture of me and my husband without us having to ask. Everyone on staff clearly works hard to upkeep this lovely getaway....

“The place has a good location in the city, but all the facilities (kitchen and appliances) are very old and nothing like the photos. Also the hosts don’t give any information about the place and activities…. just give you the key and you are on your own.”

We were disappointed with the general service, particularly in the hotels restaurant. We booked a table on the first evening and it wasn't ready when we arrived, with the staff seeming stressed at our arrival. We were sat down 15 minutes late and the food took over an hour to arrive, during which time we were not visited once by the staff...

“Getting to the property was a little confusing as a foreigner. Eventually I found it & everything was good. Communication with the host was good. Any issues that occurred I was able to inform the host & it was handled promptly. I understand it being in the jungle & or nature habitat so there was naturally bugs & pests, scared me a little but it was fine. I really enjoyed the home it was beautiful!”

“We stayed in room 20. Awesome view. Close to the office,breakfast and dining room/bar. Because this was low season, not a lot going on. Very quite. We had dinner 2 night with the cheif Sofia. What great meals. We walked into the small town for 3 other dinners. The Managers had very good recommendations. Also very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.”
