"The hotel is in a great location for local restaurants and exploribg Durres. Unfortunately, this hotel did not mention that a lot of the facilities were closed to it being off season before we arrived. There was no notice that the menu is fixed for half board and the staff did not ask our dietary requirements before serving the food. When we checked in, there was no hotel information given to us at all and all of the times for breakfast/lunch/dinner and checkin/ out differed on expedias website,...

"The hotel is REALLY hard to find. Google maps, Apple maps and the Hotels.com listing all have it in the wrong place. It is two blocks from the beach as you are leaving town. Aside from that, we LOVED the staff there! They were all- every single person- REALLY friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had the best stay. "They had no record of our Hotels.com reservation and it took a long time before we convinced them to allow us to check in. There is an obvious problem of communication between Hotels.com and this hotel which needs to be rectified. After the check in debacle, the service was good, except we were forced to pay cask at the hotel restaurant because the waiter paid cash to the chef who apparently is not employed by the hotel. Too strange for words. Not four star or even three star procedures...
