“This was a nice hotel with an excellent breakfast and pool . Very clean and friendly staff. I would say that it is the nicest in the area. Only knock is the distance to the beach. If you want a beachfront- this is not for you . Maybe 500m walk through the shopping area to the beach.”

“All good”

“very nice property”

“The staff and the general facilities and the room were great. Just two downsides. 1. During my stay they decided to drain the swimming pool and regrout and refill. We were told that this would take two days. My time at the hotel finished after 4 days and the pool was still not open. It would have been a good idea to do this maintenance work during the low season rather than with a hotel full of holidaymakers. 2. Strangely you were only allowed to use one device on the Wi-Fi. If you tried to...

“There are no rooms having beach view also beach at the other part and that too not lighted up properly and is dull as compared to adjoining Baga and Candolim beaches .The images posted are not chronoligical order pasted from here and there and made so don't completely rely on that”

“Extremely disappointed. The key card never worked so I had to go the reception every single time and ask them to send someone with a master key card. They replaced my key card 3 times but that didnt help. Meanwhile it was raining and the corridor ceilings were leaking. I found a dead cockroach in my bathroom. So overall...horrible.”

“kinda and attentive staff. stayed at the beachfront suite. note that photos appear much nicer than what is available - rooms and bathrooms aren’t as luxurious as one expects for the price charged.”

“Breakfast, ambience, polite and co operative staff. Exceptional behaviour and listening ability of Ms. Mani.”

“The location is good, can be noisy all night if your room is at the front of the hotel. Rooms are not soundproof so if you plan a lie in you may get the noise from the pool area. Cleanliness can Definetly be improved, property also needs maintenance rather than excuses for issues. Some of the front office staff were really good but otherwise the the staff and Restaraunt’s staff were quite poor.”

“Great”

“Really dated I booked an indulgence room. It was terrible Swimming pool is in the shade and really cold water. Only 6 sun loungers around it because nobody went in the pool. Clean towels supplied smelt horrible. Always got dirty feet when I had a shower as they obviously don’t clean the floor”

“Excellent stay ! Very attentive and kind sfaff, the breakfast is great, the room very comfy. Ony cons I could find: a bit isolated and the pool is best in the morning / early afternoon as it’ll be in the shade after that. Very happy otherwise ”

“I cannot rate The Astor in Goa high enough. We used Goa as a stop gap for our India holiday and it was amazing. I had an upgrade and used the Spa and Gym as well as the pool which was welcoming after being in the sun. The staff were fab, very friendly and considerate, couldn't do enough, always helpful. Food was also delicious, Ishani looked after us throughout, always with a smile on her face. Thank you to everyone at The Astor, hopefully return soon.”

“Yes we enjoyed ”

“Very good place to stay! Clean, great service and the Staff couldn’t do enough for me during my entire stay. Very good selection for breakfast and dinner. Recommend it highly. Howard ”
