"Grand size hotel near the Central train station but away from the noise and the busyness that is Amsterdam. Beautiful Art Deco structure and design. Very large rooms. Only complaint is that the working desk did not have anything like a suitable chair. We had to haul over a giant cushion-chair to use. Still - 5 stars. "

"Beautiful property in a great, walkable area. The canal room view was so beautiful with the view. Be mindful, if you are a light sleeper, the street noise was obnoxious one of the nights, but that comes with wanting the view. Will definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel was amazing located centrally close to everything you need as a tourist. The room was nice, big and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, however, we had an incident where we kept smelling smoke (cannabis) in our room, and it was coming from another resident who was staying directly underneath our room and woke us up around 11pm and again early in the morning. We told the reception about this coz we didn't want our toddler to inhale it and not much was done as we smelled it again...

"Everyone was very hospitable and friendly. They went out of their way to make everything right. The bed was very comfortable. My only concern was that there were no drawers and the bathroom didn’t have my space for toiletries. We ate in the grill restaurant one so. Er and breakfast, very good. We ate at Vanoost and it was an upscale dining experience."

"I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel. We arrived 2 days late due after a horrible experience with American Airlines, including lost luggage. The Conservatorium gave us some clothes and toiletries. We liked it so much, we decided to stay there a couple days after the cruise to explore Amsterdam. The room they gave us was too hot and the moved us to a cooler room. Also, I hurt my ankle and they provided a walking cane for the day. I would definitely stay here when visiting...
