"The most wonderful experience for my family to stay here. All the staff were very helpful and full of smiles. Breakfast team was superb. Concierge at ground floor always very good. Special mention to our housekeeper Johan who observed what we needed and supplied more. The hanger rack was really helpful for us, as the only small complaint we have here is insufficient hooks. I have to commend the entire team, and I am sure the unseen management did well to achieve this standard which I seldom experience. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful experience!"

"Old-school, classic hotel full of heritage and history, a hidden gem in the hot area of Surabaya. It has friendly staff, good maintenance and very good breakfast. The things one may complain are also associated with the age of this hotel, for example, the rooms mostly have the only window at the entrance side due to the old buiding design, and the kids may find it slightly boring due to the lack of fun facilities usually found in modern hotels, but who can pass the opportunity to live where legends like Charlie Chaplin once stayed?"
