โThe Desert Sands is very nice. This is not our first time, and we enjoyed every time we stayed there. The location and facilities are excellent.
We especially noticed that he staff was very courteous and supportive.
We did have an issue with a partially clogged shower drain in a bathroom. When we discussed it with the staff, they were very understanding and supportive.

โThe is a well maintained motel. It is not fancy or pretentious. Our room was small but perfectly maintained with a comfortable bed. There is a shared grill, dining table, and outside shower. โ
โHyland Motor Inn is a clean, neat budget motel 10 minutes from the Stone Harbor beaches. The outdoor pool was still open the weekend of Sept.19, 2025! The water temp was โrefreshing!โ The staff is very welcoming and very kind.โ
โThis property was great. Loved the subtle cute touches as well as having the super friendly staff! Being so close to the beach and boardwalk is also great. The parking spots were very tight, but we didnโt have any issues with other cars scratching ours. We will definitely be back! โ
โThe owner was very nice. She made sure we were comfortable and had the air turned on when we got there it was the perfect temperature! We got lost a few times looking for the property because we are not from the area, the owner always answered the phone when we called to give us instructions on how to get there and she was readily available upon check-in and check-out.โ
โThe property was great perfect for a few night down the shore. The rooms were old and dated but that was fine we only really used the room for sleeping and showering. The pool area was great and Nick, who checked us in and out, was super friendly and helpful. Weโll be back โ
