"We got there in our travels late at night. There was no one to check us in so I called the number and asked for security and security someone over to find the front desk person. Security never found the person and they left so after another 15 minutes, I called again. During that fun conversation, the front desk person showed up she had actually was helping a woman who had disabilities moved to a different room because of a problem she had had in that room and she couldn’t do it all herself. That really spoke a lot to me. The rooms were clean. Everything was very accommodating. We only stayed one night. We got up the next morning and went on our travels. The casino is across the street and if I had more time, I might’ve gone down there too."

"This is an absolute lovely place to stay. We checked in with our grouchy cat and although you do have to pay a fee for having an animal, they were gracious, and the rooms had bowls and everything we needed for him. The room is nicely appointed, clean, and feels like home. I highly recommend this hotel"

"We had an amazing stay that exceeded expectations! House and room were immaculate. We enjoyed walking the property and sitting on the expansive porches. Bobbie was an excellent host, cooked a delicious breakfast and gave us a great personalized tour. We look forward to returning to this beautiful estate on our next visit."
