“Apartment room was good, needed a little more finesse & finishing but reasonable. There were some niggles such as rusty toilet roll holder, shower door that doesn't properly shut, no shelf in the shower room. The main issue however was the entrance & stairs which were very dirty. ”

Wasnt expecting the Ritz as the price was very good but we arrived to find a fair amount of sand on the floors - they clearly had not cleaned floors prior to our arrival. It’s very basic which was ok but would have been a little better if there was a lamp in the bedroom and proper curtains to shut out the morning light. It also said toilet roll and towels were included with booking but there was only 1 roll for 3 people for 4 days. Towels looked...

“What a treat! The loft apartment was super clean, modern and spacious. Bathroom nicely done with quality towels. Kitchen well stocked with pots etc. Good coffee provided as well. Excellent location - just a 5 minute from the train station and minutes from shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.”

The negatives - some important shortcomings were - there was only one toilet roll for booking of a family of four for 3 nights, the extractor in kitchen was not working, coffee pods were useless because the water reservoir in the coffee machine was not working.”

“We had a lovely stay at bank house cottage . Veronica and Alan made us feel very welcome . The cottage has beautiful views all around and is so clean and cosy. Would definitely recommend the hot tub it was very relaxing after long walks. The Stork pub serves great food and is just few minutes away 👍”

“Very warm welcome on arrival. Friendly lady showed me how to use everything before leaving us to enjoy our break. Very clean and well kept. There is parking on main street but very busy too. Tram to main strip just at top of street. Honestly appox 3 min walk away. Very close to the beach again 5 maybe 10 once down the stairs. Ramp at property also down to promenade ”

“Another nice stay at the Village Blackpool. Warm welcome by the young lady on reception. Nice comfortable room . No drinking glass in the bathroom !!!!!!. Leisure needs a little freshen up Sauna glass door hadn't been cleaned for some time by the looks of it and was the topic of conversation by the locals. Grass needed cut around the outdoor pool or was it no mow May !!!!!. Bar food area was busy. I had booked a table but no table reserved but staff managed to sort one out beside a large party...
