"Difficult entry as email came after we had left on our journey. Wouldn't use oven, needs a steam clean. Too minimalistic for us..no curtains, no pictures, no mirror in bedroom.. To use with hair dryer. Breakfast poor compared to other places we have stayed in. Milk was frozen in fridge. Broken tiles and mildew in bathroom."

"The room was newly renovated, and all the appliances were brand new. The location is excellent, right in the city centre and only a 15–20 minute walk to Union Square. The room itself is comfortable; however, the noise levels are quite high. Even on the second floor, street noise is very noticeable, especially on weekends. Early in the morning, the street-cleaning vehicles are particularly loud. I also had to report noise from the upper floor, as loud music and disturbances were clearly audible...

"We were a group of 10, grandparents kids and teenage grandkids. This was perfect for us to give us all space after a crowded week in London. Masood was extremely kind accommodating to all our needs. Grocery nearby as well as another shop that sold great pastries. Close to the train station, we walked less than 10 minutes."

"The Newton hotel is a good hotel, with large clean comfortable rooms. The staff are pleasant and comfortable. It is convenient if travelling between Inverness and Aberdeen but in a quiet area with nice views. It is very good value."
