“We checked ourselves in and left a couple of hours later (no staff seen). I hadn’t realised I’d booked a room with shared bathroom and the bathroom was on first floor and we were on the second - we only saw one shower and 2 toilets for all the shared rooms. There’s half carpet in the standalone toilet, which is gross. The rooms themselves are fine, a bit rough round the edges. I’m baffled at the positive reviews, it’s very basic and not good value - we chose to drive 2.5 hours home rather than...

“Loved this place, a small guest house directly on the promenade along the beach front, and in my case with a room overlooking the promenade with a beautiful view of the sea front. Very nice and helpful staff (Sam) asnd a nice small (cafe) and small gift shop. Really lovely place. The room was small for two, with two beds, and a little difficult to negotiate, and the room amenities were very basic. But the place is so nice overall and the location so great, I rate the place 4/5 for what it is...
