“The hotel isn't sound proof at all. It's a hotel made out of a large house. While i was staying, it sounded like the guys next door were in my room because i could hear their every step and chat and felt really insecure because of that. The bathroom and toilet are shared which i didn't expect at all. At least they are kept clean and there's daily cleaning service. The room had a basin. There was no shower gaun though towels were provided. They had good heating on.”

“What can I say. I love this hotel. The staff team are young and full of fun and energy. Hotel is beautiful. Room fabulous. Food excellent in the evening and lovely breakfast. The hotel is amazing and so relaxing with fabulous views of the Menai strait and Snowdonia mountains. Wish I could afford to have stayed longer. Ally x”

“The room was spotless and white bed linen crisp and white. However the overall rating was let down by historic carpet stains in abundance throughout the property. The sash windows either need repairing or replacing and the glass was blown therefore affecting the view. Also one of the windows could not be closed and the others couldn't be opened. “We checked ourselves in and left a couple of hours later (no staff seen). I hadn’t realised I’d booked a room with shared bathroom and the bathroom was on first floor and we were on the second - we only saw one shower and 2 toilets for all the shared rooms. There’s half carpet in the standalone toilet, which is gross. The rooms themselves are fine, a bit rough round the edges. “The hosts are the heart of this place—incredibly welcoming and helpful. The guesthouse has a great location (walking distance to everything), parking, and excellent breakfast.
