“The house and the staff were amazing! The home was beautiful and in a great location regarding park access. The staff was so very accommodating, and even let me check in a little early. If you’re considering staying in an inn, remember that the walls are thinner than a regular hotel. You’re basically sharing a home with others, depending on how many rooms are in the house. Overall, great stay and I would definitely recommend and go back myself.”

“Room and inn were beautiful! Gail was a wonderful host! The breakfasts were very yummy!! The bed was pretty hard and there wasn’t air conditioning in our room which made sleeping uncomfortable in the warm weather.”

“This is a quaint almost like a boarding house but very VERY far from Acadia. The hour plus drive was torture on really bad roads and locals doing 85 on 45 roads with twists and curves. Really tough at night and coming back from the park. Do not book if you want proximity to Bar Harbor. The breakfast is overpriced and the serving staff overwhelmed. “We had such a pleasant stay here! The place was impeccably clean, and you literally had everything you needed. I had to ask for an extra blanket, and it was brought to me right away. The breakfast was delicious and the snacks were great and even had some gluten free options. The young lady at the front desk was an absolute sweetheart, helpful and so knowledgeable about the area.
