โThe beds were amazing, the breakfast were fabulous - could have more options on the restaurant menu for the main meals but the staff were friendly and very accommodating. The stay was what I was expecting - quiet and peaceful. A small basin in the rooms to clean mugs etc would be nice but not a necessity. โ
โMy family and I had a very comfortable 3-night stay at Happy Lands and visited Addo Elephant Park each day. On arrival, we were welcomed by the lovely host family to a very peaceful setting. The cottage patio looks onto beautiful gardens with mature trees. My husband wasnโt able to join us on this holiday, and weโve already decided that weโd love to visit again to show him the farm. โ

Les chambres sont hyper spacieuses et cerise sur le gรขteau, j ai retrouvรฉ la voiture lavรฉe le lendemain sans avoir rien demandรฉ. Petit dรฉjeuner excellent et personnel trรจs attentionnรฉ y compris Archie le patron qui donne de bons conseilsโ
โSet inside Addo, you get 5 star service, and knowledgeable game guides who zero in on your individual needs. Lots of elephants, kudu, zebra, and a mating pair of lions made for outstanding sightings.โ
โLovely hotel to stay at when visiting Addo. Rooms are huge and the bathroom is lovely, especially the outdoor shower. Only downside is there is no door so the light comes in as soon as the sun rises.
10-15 min drive to Addo, not much in the local area.
Breakfast was good, buffet selection and eggs cooked to order. Nice pool with towels and sunscreen provided which was a nice touch.โ

Top all of that off with an elephant encounter and you have memories that will last a lifetime! The ladies there arranged a half-day guided safari for us at nearby Addo Game Reserve - thoroughly recommend that too.โ

Fรผr die Anfahrt รผber die letzten 14 km unbefestigte Straรe sind sicher 30 min Autofahrt einzuplanen. Diese Straรe muss man auch zurรผck, wenn der Nationalpark besucht wird.โ
โWir haben uns sehr wohl gefรผhlt. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich. Habe wรคhrend dem Nachtessen die Safari beim Personal gebucht und funktionierte alles einwandfrei. Die Anlage ist gross und sehr sauber gehalten. Wir wรผrden jederzeit wieder in dies Unterkunft gehen. M. Mโ
โWij hebben hier een fijne tijd gehad. Lisa stuurde vooraf handige informatie over de app. Het verblijf lag op steenworp afstand van addo elephant park af en in de buurt waren leuke eettentjes en een supermarkt.
De kamers waren geweldig. We werden in de ochtend wakker van fluitende en een fantastisch uitzicht โ
โWir haben hier 3 Nรคchte verbracht aufgrund der Nรคhe zum Addo Park. Die Unterkunft selbst ist toll, das Personal sehr bemรผht. Wir sind sehr frรผh abgereist aufgrund des Fluges und uns wurde ein schรถnes Frรผhstรผckspaket vorbereitet. Es ist ausreichend Platz vorhanden, eine landestypische Unterkunft, die dennoch die โVorstellungenโ eines Europรคers erfรผllt. Die Unterkunft ist jedoch ca 1 std mit dem Auto von Port Elizabeth entfernt und man muss kurz hinter PE durch ein recht unsicher wirkendes Gebiet...
โDie Unterkunft lag perfekt, um den Addo Elephant Park zu besuchen. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Wir haben den Park mit dem eigenen PKW besucht und hatten einzigartige Momente dort mit Elefanten, Zebras und vielen anderen Tieren. โ
โWonderful stay for 2 nights. Food is excellent, stuff super friendly and beautiful surroundings. Real time relaxation. We would highly recommend it.โ
