โIt was a distance from the popular things in St. Augustine, but I have never stayed at a Hotel that was that nice in many areas. The staff was extremely nice giving me advice on St. Augustine things.
The room was perfect and very comfortable. Deb from Housekeeping was also very respectful of all our things in the room as she made sure we had everything we needed.
I'll admit the breakfast can definitely be improved, but 95% of our stay was absolutely fantastic!

โIt was a very pleasant stay! It smells good everywhere. The complimentary breakfast was delicious! I also love their toiletries. And yeah, the staff was friendly and nice. โ
โOverall property was really nice. Room was clean which is important to us. Some of the areas around back looked like had some trash build up but nothing that distracted from the building or the rooms. โ
โThe staff was super friendly!! Both managers greeted us when we arrived! Gave us an upgrade to a bigger room which we will definitely be booking next time! They kept everything clean and were just friendly and awesome! I felt welcomed and safe there. The environment was quiet and so easy to sleep. โ
โWe really liked staying at Castillo Inn for our 10th anniversary. It was a quiet hotel and within walking distance of a few restaurants. I'm sure we could've walked to the historic downtown, but we both have walking challenges.
We definitely be back with our family. โ
โEverything was great except they took out the station where someone is fishing the breakfast to the guest...this lead to people cutting in the line . reaching across people ect...not goodโ
