“A truly wonderful hidden gem on the French countryside not too far away from Calais. The hosts have created a unique experience in their old farm house with a beautiful large garden even with their own hedge maze in the back garden. Pet friendly, cozy place, comfortable bed in a well equipped room with brick walls and nice decorations both in and outside. Breakfast is served in the conservatory in the main house. Chickens and ducks walk freely around. We loved it!”

“Lovely overnight stop on our way home from France at this very grand-looking home. The owners, who treat clients as house guests, gave us a warm welcome and provided us with a delicious home cooked dinner. Morning fresh bread and pastries collected to order by mine host for breakfast accompanied a good buffet. Comfortable bed, clean linen and ample parking. Very good value too - we will be back.”

“After a long day of travelling, we made a last-minute decision to add one more overnight stop before heading home from the Eurotunnel — and we’re so glad we did. What a gem! This charming small hotel is beautifully peaceful, with just a few rooms, and everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We also had a lovely dinner at the on-site restaurant, which made the evening even more relaxing. It felt like a perfect little escape to recharge before...

“The host for this property was very welcoming and attentive. The views are spectacular and the breakfast was wonderful beautifully fresh eggs from the chickens you see around the property. I did expect it to be attached to a shopping centre and expected it to have a restaurant as these were in the hotels.com description and neither of these statements are true. But there is a shopping centre within 3 miles and by the sea there are a number of restaurants which are a short drive away .”
