“Clean room, staff was great, they have a café upstairs, really nice terrace on the second floor and the third floor with beautiful views. And you can have drinks up there and just lounge out. I would recommend bringing mosquito or bug spray when walking around outside. ( noticed that a lot around the island). AC in the room blows cold! Great value and great stay overall.”

“Owners were very nice! We wanted to go to the monastery across the island but the busses weren't running at the time we needed to leave. They called a friend and set us up with a taxi ride, which I'm still very appreciative for. They're very accommodating. The hotel was also across the street from a nice swimming spot along the beach, as well as a very short walk from where the ferry dropped us off. When I come back to Aegina I'm definitely staying at Hotel Plaza again!!”

Be mindful to get to the apartments you have to walk up a very steep hill or 100-170 steps depending on which route you take & if you are on the top apartments it’s another 60 steps! “We booked a superior twin room with a spa bath, for a bit of luxury; I am 65, my friend 69. We arrived early & our room was ready but we gad a double bed, not twin as specified. The manager then produced a trundle bed & considered it resolved. Itvwas very uncomfortable & I barely slept for the 2 night stay.
