“We traveled to CR in late May, 2026, with our two boys (age 14/11). The property is lovely - clear views of the volcano (aside from the mist covering). The grounds of the property are beautiful and interesting with lots of birds and butterflies (note there is some small construction going on at the moment but this didn’t affect us). It was a relaxing and peaceful place for a few days with excellent hiking nearby to the waterfalls and river swimming pools. Great place to stay to immerse yourself in the Costa Rican rainforest and spot wildlife. We spotted a lot within the lodge area.
